The Obsidian overhead reel is built around the frame of the massively popular Accurate Boss Extreme frame and brings improvements in weight, power, and performance.
The Obsidian features a longer power-arm for increased torque when fighting fish, while the new ‘X-ARB’ anti-reverse bearing provides improved strength and durability over previous generations. Because of this, we were able to remove the anti-reverse dogs, reducing the weight and mechanical complexity.
The Obsidian features our patented TwinDrag system, which provides smooth, balanced, and powerful drag performance at all times.
