We take pride in the quality and performance of our reels, and we are committed to providing our customers with the best possible experience when using our products.

That's why we offer a 12-month ‘Angler’s Assurance’ Warranty on all reels purchased through authorized New Zealand retailers or direct through accuratefishing.co.nz.

This 12-month warranty covers abnormal wear caused by manufacturing defects and failure of non-consumable components. This means that if you experience any issues with your reel within the first 12 months of ownership, and it is determined to be caused by a manufacturing defect or failure of a non-consumable component, we will repair or replace the reel free of charge.

Please note that the warranty does not cover reels that have been modified, disassembled, abused, or accidentally damaged. If your reel has been modified, disassembled, abused, or accidentally damaged, it will be declined and not covered under the warranty.

If you experience an issue and believe that your reel is covered under warranty, please contact the authorized retailer or Accurate New Zealand where you purchased the reel. They will assist you in determining whether your reel is covered under warranty and provide you with instructions on how to proceed.

Please note that while our reels are built tough, they aren’t indestructible and still require a basic level of care to ensure they perform as designed for many years.

At a minimum, reels should be rinsed with fresh-water after use, air-dried, oiled, and stored in a dry location. For the best care, ensure you are performing a comprehensive reel service at least once a year in addition to the above basic care requirements.

Consumable components include anything that is designed to wear during use to avoid wear on critical components. This includes bearings, drag washers, clickers, and seals.

If you do notice a consumable component wearing prematurely, please get in touch as soon as possible.
